In 2015 the United Nations General Assembly declared 11 February as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. On the 10th anniversary of this milestone, ISTA proudly celebrates women’s leadership in science.
Join us for this year’s edition on the topic "Being a Woman Leader of Science in 2025: Reflections from ISTA’s Women Professors," a discussion highlighting the experiences of women leading in science today. ISTA’s women professors will share their perspectives and experiences on what it takes to be a (women) leader in STEM in 2025.
This event offers an opportunity to share stories, reflect on current challenges and connect with some of ISTA’s inspiring women leaders of science, including Alicia Michael, Andela Saric, Anna Kicheva, Beatriz Vicoso, Eva Benková, Kim Modic, Lora Sweeney, Maria Ibáñez, Samara Ren, Sandra Siegert, and Ylva Götberg.
